Snoring is the sound produced when airflow through the nose and throat is partially blocked during sleep, causing surrounding tissues to vibrate. While occasional snoring is common, persistent or loud snoring may indicate an underlying condition such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), enlarged tonsils, adenoids, nasal blockage, or obesity.
